蒸餾萃取來自土耳其的德國洋甘菊，五百公斤的花才能萃得一公斤的精油。散發強烈的苦甜草本香，帶點果香尾韻。


德國洋甘菊含有母菊天藍烴，在過往兩千多年間，其鎮靜身心的傳奇療效曾被古希臘醫神阿斯克勒庇俄斯、古羅馬醫學家蓋倫、希波克拉底及庫爾佩珀等人記載。
